Protecting you every step of the way on your journey to finding a life partner.
At MatchmakingPK, your safety is our highest priority. We have built multiple layers of protection into our platform — from admin-approved profiles to contact number privacy — to ensure that your matrimonial journey is safe, secure, and respectful. Please read these guidelines carefully and follow them to protect yourself throughout the process.
Never share your home address, workplace location, financial details, or national ID number with anyone you have just met on the platform, regardless of how trustworthy they seem.
Keep all initial communications within the MatchmakingPK platform. Our messaging system is monitored for safety. Moving to external apps too quickly can expose you to risks.
Look for the verified badge on profiles. Verified users have confirmed their identity through our verification system. Exercise additional caution with unverified profiles.
Be extremely cautious if someone asks you for money, gifts, or financial assistance for any reason. This is a major red flag and a common scam pattern.
If something feels wrong or too good to be true, trust your gut. You are never obligated to continue a conversation that makes you uncomfortable.
Use the Report button on any profile that seems fake, suspicious, or inappropriate. Your reports help protect the entire community.
When you decide to meet someone in person after exchanging contact details, please follow these essential safety steps:
Always meet for the first time in a public place such as a restaurant, café, or shopping mall — never at a private residence or secluded location.
Inform a trusted family member or friend about your meeting — share the person's name, contact number, and the meeting location before you go.
Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting. Do not accept rides from someone you are meeting for the first time.
Keep your mobile phone charged and with you at all times during the meeting.
Do not feel pressured to make any major decisions — including engagement or marriage — at a first meeting. Take your time.
If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, leave immediately and contact someone you trust.
For initial family meetings, involve your parents or a trusted elder from the beginning as is customary in Pakistani culture.
Be alert to these warning signs that may indicate a fraudulent or unsafe profile:
Profile photos that look too professional or appear to be stock images — reverse image search if in doubt.
Claims of being abroad (especially in Western countries) with elaborate stories about why they cannot meet in person.
Requests for money for any reason — medical emergencies, travel tickets, business investments, or family crises.
Inconsistencies in their story, age, education, or profession across different conversations.
Pressure to move the conversation off the platform very quickly.
Declarations of strong feelings or love very early in the conversation before meeting in person.
Reluctance to video call or meet in person despite extended communication.
Asking for personal documents such as your passport, CNIC, or bank details.
Every profile is manually reviewed and approved by our admin team before going live. Fake or incomplete profiles are rejected.
Mobile numbers are never visible during browsing. They are only shared after a proposal is mutually accepted by both parties.
Our system continuously monitors for suspicious behavior patterns and automatically flags potentially fraudulent accounts for review.
Profile photos are reviewed by our moderation team. Inappropriate or stolen images are removed and the account is suspended.
You can block or report any user at any time. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and appropriate action is taken.
Verified users have their identity confirmed through our blockchain verification system, providing an immutable trust record.
